What's in my bag... Everyday

My everyday bag at the moment is the River Island Bowler Bag (£40),
This bag was a christmas present and I have used it nearly everyday since.
I absolutely love it, this bag is the high streets answer to Mary Poppins bag.
I have never known a bag to hold so much and stay so light,
It is also the most comfortable bag I have ever owned.

The first things I always carry in my bag are my phone and IPod,
With a 40 minute bus journey to college everyday I couldn't handle it without my music.
I currently have a Blackberry Curve and an IPod Touch.

The next thing I always have is my purse(s)...

The larger holds all of my cards and cash,
Whilst the smaller Kurt Geiger purse holds my student card and my keys.

I also always carry a note book, pen and usually a magazine.
At the moment I am carrying Cosmo and my absolutely amazing new Pug notebook.

Lastly I have quite a few random items which were floating around at the bottom of my bag...

(from Left to Right)
Mini Juicy Tubes which I received in my Harrods Glossy Box,
A Nivea hand cream that I picked up from Primark for a pound,
Starbucks sugar-free peppermint chewing gum,
Two perfume samples;
Versace - Vanitas (Harrods Glossy Box)
Illamasqua - Freak (Past Glossy Box)

The three make up items at the top are;
A mini Clinique mascara
Miss Sporty liquid liner (best i've ever found)
and the new pump up booster Miss Sporty mascara.

Overall I don't think I carry too much and what I do carry I use every single day,
I love reading these types of post because I am so nosey and love seeing what over people carry around with them...

Hope you enjoyed this post,

OOTD - 10/03/2012

(This is slightly behind because of some uploading issues with the pictures)

So on saturday I went out for a late lunch with my Boyfriend, seriously good harvester may I add.
I wanted to dress up a little bit but not too much, so heres my outfit for the day....

(My boyfriend was behind the camera making me laugh)

On top I am wearing a blue and white striped Hollister button down shirt which was featured in my first post, this shirt was £13.90 reduced from £45. (bargain !)
My jeans are from River Island, without doubt I can say these are the most comfortable jeans I have ever owned and they last forever, these particular ones were £40. I'm not sure if they are still on sale in River Island but if I can find them I will put the link in the sources below.

I am once again wearing by "slippers" from New Look (£17.99), I have also shown my "everyday" bag in this OOTD, this bag is from River Island and is called the Block Colour Bowler Bag. It is no longer sold in this colour but the new spring styles are lovely.

This outfit pretty much displays my everyday style for this in between weather this outfit alone is perfect on warm spring days and with a cardigan or blazer over the top is warm enough to wear when the weather isn't as nice.

Hope you enjoyed this post, Please feel free to comment and subscribe I would really appreciate it.

Wish List ...

My Fashion and Beauty wish list for March 2012

First up this month are two Topshop lipsticks; Innocent and Nevada, I've seen Innocent mentioned in quite a few blogs and YT videos. I looks like the perfect "your lips but better" shade in my opinion, as for Nevada I have been looking for a nude but not concealer lips shade lipstick for a while and I'm hoping that this may be the one for me.

Next up for march are these Miss Guided boots which are an obvious take off of the Jeffrey Campbell - Lita boots but as these are £40.99 and the Jeffrey Campbell ones are around the £120 mark I am not complaining. Miss Guided have a huge selection of these boots in both leather and the suede varieties.

To go with the boots I would have to purchase some cute ankle socks to make the boots look a little more feminine. As I've got small feet I'll most likely end up buying children's ankle socks. Anywhere that sells children's school uniform will stock lace trip ankle socks. (usually up to a UK shoe size 5)

As we are starting to see some warmer weather I am once again attracted to dipped hem dresses as I am always slightly too short for maxi dresses. This one above is from republic from the brand Miso and is a really very reasonable price at £30.

Last but not least on this wish list is this very basic but perfect practical spring bag from River Island which is the perfect size, perfect to go with the Miso Republic dress.

Hope you all enjoyed this months Wish List,

OOTD - 07/03/2012

Dress - Boohoo Mocha Mini Skater Dress
(£15 - Gift from my Boyfriend)
Although it was raining and cold today I really wanted to wear this dress as I love these style dresses,
I think in the summer I am going to live in the Topshop flippy dresses.
I have changed the belt that the dress was sent with for a skinny Primark belt.

New Look "Slippers"
£17.99
I wore the dress with the shoes that were in my last post it doesn't actually show in the picture but these shoes are the exact same colour as the dress.
(I love a matching outfit every now and then)

As I was going out in the rain I popped on my New Look coat, I'm not sure what this coat is called and I cant find it on the website but I picked it up in the January sales for £10 (original price £49.99) and a H&M oversized tube scarf which I also picked up in a sale for £2 (Bargain !)
This coat is actually a size 6 (I'm a 12/14) but it is a dropped shoulder overcoat style, which in my size absolutely drowned me in material.

I love wearing skirts and dresses, I'm so excited for the summer now.
Hope you enjoyed my first OOTD, please feel free to comment and follow.
Love...

West Field Stratford City Haul !

(I forgot the camera so no pictures of West Field its self but I will
definitely be going back soon so I will take  picture then)

Picked up a few items whilst at West Field today, the first was this dress which was an absolute bargain buy...
(Forever 21 - £14.75)
I am planning to wear this to a christening next month but it is also a perfect staple dress for nights out, interviews and work as well as being able to dress it down for shopping and days out. Whilst in Forever 21 I picked up a few accessories...
I think these cross necklaces are so on trend at the moment and will go perfectly with a simple white t-shirt and jeans. (£1.50 each)

I also picked up these sunglasses whilst at the till I had a pair very similar last year but i managed to lose them on a camping trip so Im really happy to have found another pair at an amazing price. (£1.65)

My next purchase of the day was from New Look, I had been looking for a pair of "suede" slippers/loafers for a while now and found the perfect pair in the wide fit section of the New look shoe department.
I really love the gold buckle detail on the front I think they make the shoes look slightly more expensive.
(£17.99 - New Look currently has so many different styles of these shoes all around the same price)

Whilst walking through the centre I noticed a make up store called KIKO which is an italian make up brand, I didn't really need anything new but I just picked up these sale items. I've actually lost the receipt but I think the nail polish was around £1.50 and the lipstick was around the £2 mark.
(I may do a separate blog post on these two items)

My final and in my opinion best buys of the day would have to be these two shirts from Hollister...
(These are also my first ever purchases from Hollister)
(Both shirts were on clearance at £13.90)
I had been looking for some long sleeve shirts for a while and when I spotted these they were perfect, they have also been discounted by nearly 75%. The blue and white was originally £45 and the pink £50. I'm not sure if I would have paid the full price for them but at such a huge discount these were brilliant.

Overall I think this trip to West Field Stratford City was very successful.
Hope you enjoyed this haul, feel free to comment and subscribe.
